My long woollen coat, ski trousers, scarf, gloves, beanie and extra warm boots were all employed this week to combat the rain/wind/snow/sleet that Edinburgh threw at us. Storm Gertrude swept through blowing down brick walls, closing schools and causing traffic chaos. Nothing like the snowzilla of New York but still enough to make life interesting.
After three nights at Destiny Scotland’s well designed loft apartment in West End we moved across town to stay with Tris and Jenny for the weekend in their cosy Duddingston apartment. These are a few fond visual memories of Edinburgh.
